This tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 07th April 2009 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental

things you will need:

PSP and animation shop for adding the sparkle

and a fairly good knowledge of both

Alienskin Xenofex 2 - constellation effect

Template 21 by Yvette HERE look on the right side bar where it says DOWNLOADS and click on the one that says Templates 14-30

Lady Snowflakes scrap kit, HERE

unzip the templates

and open up template 21 in PSP

Delete the YVETTE watermark

click on the dotted circle layer and go to

Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness and Contrast

a pop up box will appear change the brightness to -129 and the contrast to 7

now click on the Large Circle layer

then go to Selctions - Select all - selctions Float
Selections - modify expand by 1 and copy and paste paper 13 into selection

add a drop shadow...

open up flower3 from the kit and resize by 50% copy and paste onto your canvas, add a drop shadow.

select the small circle layer on the template

then go to Selctions - Select all - selctions Float
Selections - modify expand by 1 and copy and paste paper17 into selection

now click on the small rectangle layer

then go to Selctions - Select all - selctions Float
Selections - modify expand by 1 and copy and paste paper 13 into selection

copy and paste bling2 fromt he kit and resize by 70...using the selection tool select that parts that overhang the rectangle layer and hit the delete key to remove the excess.

open up rose1 from the kit resize by 15% using smartsize , then go to image rotate counter clockwise 90

copy and paste onto your canvas, then duplicate this rose and rotate right by 15

then go to merge down, then duplicate this and go tot image - mirror.

now open up the dragonfly from the kit and resize using smartsize by 50%

add a drop shadow of choice...and copy and paste onto your canvas...

now to add the sparkle

make sure the Bling2 from the kit is the active layer,

go to Effects plugins - Alien skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

with these settings -

click ok to apply the effect

copy merged and paste into animation shop AS A NEW ANIMATION

back to PSP

CLICK UNDO

THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE but this time click on the random seed button....

copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

back to PSP

CLICK UNDO

THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE click on the random seed button once more....

copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

view your animation, if you are happy save it as a gif and your are done!

Then just save as a gif and your are done!..thanks for trying my tutorial
