BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS

This scrap tag tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 22/06/07 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental
For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Jorge Packer
Please take the time to check out his work HERE

Unzip and open up your supplies in PSP place the brushes in your brushes folder if you do not already some nice swirly brushes

scrap kit used was by RHONNA FARRER from two peas in a bucket

Mask was from HERE  
made by Ms Kris from Paint Shop Stop

but really with this tut you could use any scrap kit you like.

Ok on with the tutorial…
Open up the frame provided called frame1-candyass

Click on your magic wand and click on the white area of the frame.

You should get what look like marching ants around the frame see screenshot below.

Copy and paste as a new layer the stripy paper
Go to Selections invert
And hit the delete key to remove excess

Go to Selections none.

Then go to Layers -  Duplicate
And then go to Image – rotate – using the settings below, click ok

Now select the original stripy frame and rotate but using the same settings but instead of right use left.

Again click on your magic wand and click on the white frame again

Copy and paste as a new layer the black paper
Go to Selections invert
And hit the delete key to remove excess

Go to Selections none

Now  slide this layer underneath the top stripy frame…so you should have a sandwich of stripe – black- stripe frames.

While you are still on the black frame layer click on your magic wand tool and select the blank area inside the frame

Now copy and paste as a new layer the image you want to use inside the frame…I used Jorge packers image

Resize as necessary
Selections invert and hit the delete key

Go to Selections  - Selections none

Now delete the white frame as you do not need it anymore.

Click on your Jorge packer image layer and slide it underneath your black frame layer

Add a drop shadow to all 3 frames you have left…so you should have something that looks like this.

Now open up the pink flower paper named rhonnafarrer_2psaprilfreepea_sqaured

Cop and paste as a new layer onto your tag and slide it to the bottom of all the layers

Make sure your Mask 215-kris.PspMask is open in PSP
Go to Layers – New Mask Layer – from Image 

Then Layers – merge Group

ok almost there…

once happy add your © and
then add your name..
Font I used was AL Serenade background Black  foreground pink
Size 72 stroke 1 anti alias sharp.

save as a jpg or a png and your done.
