DEFINE NAUGHTY

This tag tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 8TH DEC 2009 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental
For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Ismael rac
you can purchase his tubes from AMI HERE.

you will need a verion of PSP, i used PSP9

Scrap kit uses is called Winter Bliss by Clarey which you can purchase HERE

Giddyup Std - PTU FONT & Toonish get it free HERE

open up a new canvas 550 x 550

floodfill with white

copy and paste paper11 onto your canvas as a new layer

apply mask WSL_Mask223
Merge group

duplicate it and move the duplicated layer over to the left and the original move over to the right.

add the frosty swirl from the kit resize by 90% and arrange to the middle

open up the rectangle frame from the kit rotate 90 degrees clockwise

then resize by 80% using smartsize

copy and paste the paper onto the canvas as a new layer,
now using your magic wand click inside the frame, you will
see the marching ants appear at the inside edge of the frame...

go to Selections - modify - expand by 6 then copy and paste paper11 as a new layer
we will remove the excess in a minute....

first copy and paste the Crystalstrands from the kit as a new layer and while you still have your marching ants go to selections invert then hit the delete key on your
keyboard to remove the excess...do the same for the
paper11 layer then slide both paper and crystal layers below the frame layer.

go to SELECTIONS - NONE to remove the marching ants.

now click on the frame layer and add a drop shadow...
I used vertical -1 horizontal -2 opacity 60 blur 6

Now copy and paste the wribbonwrap4 from the kit resize by 83% using smartsize and flip it. smply by going to image flip.

add a drop shadow open the snowdust1 from the kit and resize by 80% and
copy and paste onto your canvas

now add your tube .this tube is great from ismael Rac
its called sexy girl ... as you can quite literally change the colour of her hair, jeans and eyes i chose the pink option and closed off the layers that i didnt want, by
simply clicking on the eye on each layer that you do not want. this makes it temporaily invisible.

then copy merged the tube layers that you want onto your canvas and add a drop shadow. slide under the wrapped ribbon now add the tree from the kit resize by 60% and add a drop shadow

then add hanging ribbon1 from the kit, copy and paste it as a new layer add a drop shadow to this also, and one of the ribbons hung down too much for my liking so i
just simply removed it by using my selection tool set to rectangle and selected the part i wanted to cut off, and hit the delete key on the keyboard to remove.

i wrote the text 'dear santa' with Giddyup Std font size 30, but
you can use any font you like if you dont have it.

then i wrote the text define naughty using the toonish font
using colours from the tag.

add your copyright info

HANDY TIP

at this point if you want to save a LAYERED version of your tag, then do so now just save as a .psp file with a uniqe name.

now to add the sparkle animation to the tree...

make sure the tree layer is selected and apply the constellation plugin using these settings

copy merged and paste the tag into animation shop as a new animation

go back into PSP

click undo

to take away the sparkle

now apply the constellation plugin again and hit the random button

copy merged into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP...

hit undo...

apply the constellation plugin again and hit the random button once more

copy merged into animation shop after current frame

save as a gif with a unique name and your done
