This tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 4th March 2009 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental
For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of ELIAS CHATZOUDIS
you can purchase his tubes from mypsptubes .

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP

you will need PSP, and animation shop

for the sparkle you will need : Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Plugin get it HERE

and this stunning Scrap kit called Lucky Charm by Clarey which you can purchase HERE

copy and paste Swirl1 onto the canvas, resize by 70% drag this below the frame
and paper layers, and arrange so that it just peeks out from the bottom of the
frame...

then duplicate the swirl - mirror it and arrange this one to the top of
the frame....

copy and paste the emerald swirl from the kit and slide this layer below the
frame and paper layers.add the same drop shadow as before.

copy and paste the beaded wire onto your canvas rezise by 50%, add a drop shadow
and arrange to the top of the frame.

copy and paste a clover of choice from the kit, resize by 50% , add a drop shadow
and arrange tothe top right of the frame.

now add the curled ribbon2 resize by 70% flip it add a drop shadow and arrange to
the bottom of the frame,

copy and paste the stitched frame from the kit resize by 50% add to the bottom
right, then erase the parts that overlap the frame...
you should have something that looks like this...

add a tube of choice, if using the same one as me, i resized mine by 80% added a
drop shadow and erase any part of the tube that overlaps the bottom part of the
frame.

now open up the rainbow with a cloud , go to image - mirror , then resize by 50%

add a drop shadow same as before.. and arrange so that the cloud is on the top
left of the frame.

copy and paste the wrappedribbon1 from the kit, resize by 75% , now Flip it, * do
this by going to Image Flip* then add a drop shadow

copy and paste the foliage from the kit, and resize by 50%, add a drop shadow as
before.. and place on top of the wrapped ribbon. ,
then copy and paste the brooch, resize by 50% add a drop shadow, place on the
knot of the ribbon

nw its time to add your name and artist ©

for my name i used a font called fairy tale jf size 48 background a light green
from the tag and foreground set to white stroke 2.

once this is done now its time to add the sparkle..

make sure the rainbow is the active layer,

go to Effects plugins - Alien skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

with these settings -

click ok to apply the effect

copy merged and paste into animation shop AS A NEW ANIMATION

back to PSP

CLICK UNDO

THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE but this time click on the random seed button....

copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

back to PSP

CLICK UNDO

THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE click on the random seed button once more....

copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

view your animation, if you are happy save it as a gif and your are done!
