Shhhh ..

This tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 23rd May 2009 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental
For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of PINUPTOONS
you can purchase his tubes from CILM

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP

and this stunning Scrap kit called Dear Diary by Clarey which you can purchase HERE

font used was Hanshand get it FREE HERE

open up the journamat1 from the kt..
select the deform tool

once you have selected this tool a square will appear around the journal
see the screenshot below...

now hover your mouse over the top node untill up and
down arrows appear, when they do..simply drag it downwards...

arrange the journal to the center of your canvas, with the move tool..

copy and paste the dear diary wordart1,

copy and paste frame1 onto your canvas resize by 95% using smartsize

copy and paste the envelope string2 resize by 75% using smartsize

arange to the top of the frame

add a drop shadow.

i used vertical 2 horizontal 2 opacity 47 blur 4

 

copy and paste the diary1 resize by 40% using smartsize


then rotate left by 25, add a pen from the kit resize this by 40% also.

add drop shadow, same as before

add 2 glitter hearts from the kit..reize 1 by 60% and the other by 50%
arrange both the the right side and add a drop shadow to each.

then add the staple, resize by 80%..add a drop shadow.
now add a couple of flowers from the kit..

resize 1 by 60% and 1 by 50%
add a drop shadow to each...arrange to the right...

now add a tube of choice..i resized by 90% and added a drop shadow as before..

font used was Hanshand get it FREE HERE

using the following settings

foreground white, background the blue/green from the kit

for the tag below i used artwork frm Elias Chatzoudis

font used was Toonish, also a free font.

font settings were : font size 48 , stroke 2

foreground and background colours i colour picked form the kit.

 

 

if you are happy save it as a.png and your are done!
