This tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 10th Feb 2009 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental
For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Jennifer Janesko
you can purchase her tubes from CILM.

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP

you will need PSP,

a mask by Ginny from BunnysAttic thanks Ginny for letting me supply it HERE

and this stunning Scrap kit by Kirstys Scraps which you can purchase HERE and her blog is HERE

add the mask to your masks folder....

open a new canvas 650 X 445

Open paper2 from the kit, copy and paste in onto your canvas

then apply the mask supplied with supplies
reduce opacity to 62%
do this by...

go to Layers - Load/save mask - load mask from disk ..

look for the mask called gh_tornedges and use the following settings.

copy and paste stamp outlines from the kit, onto your canvas,
rotate counter clockwise by 90

then go to Image Flip.
then resize using smartsize by 80%

for this tutorial I used an actual image rather than the tube.
if you dont have the tube then just fill the frame with a paper of choice or leave the
mask layer as your background it will still look fine...

with your magic wand tool select the inside of the 3 frames by holding the shift key
down while you click inside the frames. then go to Seletcions - modify by 3 -
selections invert

copy and paste your image or tube as a new layer go to Selections Invert and making
sure your image/tube layer is the active layer, hit the delete key to remove the excess.

slide the image layer underneath the frame. add a drop shadow to the frame

i used Vertical 1 Horizontal 2 opacicity 70 and blur 8

copy and paste the safetypin onto your canas resize by 50%, i then erased a little of
the safety pin to look like it had been pinned together.

add a drop shadow.

copy and paste flower 3 onto your canvas, resize by 70% rotate right 20%
duplicate this layer then go to image mirror and then image flip...

copy and paste the berries onto your canvas, rotate right 83% resize by 70% add to the
bottom of the frame.
you should now have something that looks like this..

Copy and paste the bracket from the kit, place to the right of your canvas then

duplicate it and go to Image - Mirror. then merge down add a drop shadow and slide below the berries.
I then added the feather from the it, resized it by 70% then go to rotate right by 7%
and slide this under the right bracket

add the heart pin and resize this by 50% rotate right by 7%, this also goes underneath
the bracket but above the feather.

copy and paste flower 4 place onto the middle of the left bracket,resize by 25% then
add a drop shadow.

add ribbon2 rotate right by 90% add a drop shadow, add gem 3 , resize by 25% add a drop
shadow and place onto the ribbon where it crosses

copy and paste frame 4 resize bt 25% and place it to the left so that it looks like its
hanging from the middle of the bracket where the flower is.

this kit also comes with a fab alpha which i used to write the Kirsty's name...

i did this simply by copying ans pasting the individual heart alpha's , resized them by

25% I also rotated a couple of them so they looked more random, and added a drop shadow
to each one..
